Modular ramps are available in 4 material options: wood, aluminum, steel, and concrete. Each option comes with their own advantages and disadvantages. This is why your requisites must be studied thoroughly to determine the best mobility solution for you.
As per ADA, the slope should be at least 1 foot long for every rise in inch. Take for example if your 3 steps, each 7 inches high, your wheelchair ramp must be at least 21 feet in length. Adding railings to the ramp is another way to improve safety.
